Steven F. Hunt

Steven F. Hunt was born in Waynesboro, TN , May 19, 1950, the beloved son of the late Albert and Jessie Hunt. Steve went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, TN. He gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. His occupation was roofing with his brothers until disabled.

He is survived by two sons, Steven Clint Hunt of Waynesboro, TN and Stethen Cody Kelly Hunt of Holiday, FL; a daughter, Brandi Duarte and step-daughter, Ashley Reed both of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Journey Hunt, Jazmyne Hunt and Maddox Duarte; step-grandchildren, Harlie Sandusky and Kayleigh Reed all of Waynesboro, TN; seven brothers, Willard, Wilburn, Nolen, Jerry, Ronnie and Ricky Hunt all of Waynesboro, TN and Bobby Hunt of Lutts, TN; five sisters, Alberta Smith of Union City, TN, Faye Rich of Collinwood, TN, Sue Quinley of Crockett Mills, TN, Charlotte Staggs and Pebble Overstreet both of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by a brother, Arion (Aaron) Hunt.

Services will be Monday, October 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Laverne Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Arion Hunt Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be his brothers.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 6 t0 9 pm and Monday, October 5, 2015 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
