Mrs. Sue Bryant of Bolivar departed this life at the age of 88 years Tuesday evening, August 13, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Bryant was born in Toone, Tennessee August 5, 1925 to the late Hughlon and Effie Wiggins Crowley and lived all her life in Hardeman County. On July 31, 1943 she was united in marriage to Bill Bryant, who preceded her in death August 31, 1989. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, raising her family and watching wrestling. She was Baptist in faith and was a member at Hebron Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy White of Saltillo, Mississippi, jamie Dellinger of Middleton and Betty Moss of Huron, Tennessee; four sons, Thomas Bryant of Medon, Glenn Bryant of Medon, Mark Bryant of Jackson and Steve Bryant of Bolivar; a sister, Kathrine; a brother, Ray Crowley of Peoria, Illinois; eighteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Bryant; and four sons, Jim Bryant, Albert Wayne Bryant, Randy Bryant and Rodney Bryant.
