Bertie Sue Hill was born December 13, 1926 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Ernest John and Dovie Kirk Locke.
She was united in marriage to David Anton Hill Sr. on July 5, 1954. Mr. Hill preceded her in death on March 10, 2003. She was a Christian Lady, Baptist in faith and a Homemaker.
Mrs. Hill departed this life on November 14, 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 11 Months, 1 Day.
She is survived by a son, David A. Hill Jr. and wife Anita of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Vergie Redmon of Selmer, TN; a granddaughter, Crystal Harris and husband Charles of Henderson, TN; three great grandchildren: Jennifer, Amy and Christopher Harris; and a step granddaughter, Mandy Hill of Henderson, TN.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda and Cheryl Hill; four sisters: Lessie Mullins, Bestie Goolsby, Velvie Dillon and Verbal Dillon; and two brothers, Tildon and Erzia Locke.
