Sue Holloway



was born in Campbell, Missouri on June 26, 1932 the daughter of the late Pete B. and Serena Bell Wilkerson Brannan.



On July 30, 1948 she was united in marriage to Bill Holloway, who survives.



Mrs. Holloway was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, were she was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Missions Committee, the Wednesday Night Meal Team, Mission Team and Trips and the Senior Adult Class. She was also a member of the Senior Adult Nursing Home and the Hardin Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary. She was a faithful Christian, enjoyed attending church, ministering at the nursing home and volunteering at the hospital. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and grandkids. Mrs. Holloway also enjoyed doing craftowrk, sewing, gardening, and flowers.



Mrs. Holloway departed this life on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the age of 78 years, 10 months, 19 days.



In addition to her husband, Bill of Savannah, she is survived by a daughter, Carol Lowdermilk of Knoxville, Tennessee; a son, Chuck Holloway of Drummonds, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren, Karey Mize and husband Nathan, Matthew Lowdermilk, Dustan Holloway and wife Kristen, Brittany Holloway, Rebecca Langley, Sarah Marcum and husband Jeremy; 5 great grandchildren, Logan Mize, Olivia Mize, Conner Mize, Riley Mize and Payton Marcum; 2 sisters, Iva lee Brannan Davidson and Imogene Brannan Harris both of Malden, Missouri; many nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Ann Brannan Roper, Virgie Marie Brannan and Ilor Mae Cooper; a brother, Harry Brannan; 2 half sisters, Alma Watson and Ruby Clary; 3 half brothers, John, Chester and Doc Clary.
