Sue Marie Miller departed this life on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the age of 79 years, 7 months, 7 days.
She was born in Corinth, Mississippi on December 5, 1934, the daughter of the late James Ward Byrd and Elois Sowell Drawdy. Sue served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Friends of the Library in Savannah, Tennessee.
Sue is survived by her children, Michael Miller of Corinth, Mississippi, Teresa Harpole of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Billy Miller of Corinth, Mississippi, James Miller of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Steve Pease of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, 1st Lt. Chris Young, Samantha Miller, Jessica Medlin, Danielle Miller, Joshua Miller, Anthony Miller, Candi Tarpley, and John Mitchell; and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Ian Miller and sister, Gail Pearlman.
