Susan Elaine Wilson McCutchen was born on October 20, 1958, in Tiptonville, Tennessee, to Melbern Wilson and Peggy Wilson Mackiewicz.

Susan was a free spirit who enjoyed life. She loved dancing to the beat of her own drum, being surrounded by people, and most importantly, her family. She had a way of leaving a little piece of herself with everyone that knew her. Susan's legacy will live on in her daughter, Marena McCutchen, and her two beloved grandsons, twins, Dylan and Dalton Hacker. She left a lasting imprint on all those who loved her by being full of laughter and mischief. Susan brought her own unique energy and personality to everything she did.

Susan departed this life on October 1, 2026, at Cypress Grove Nursing Home in Jackson, Tennessee. She is survived by her daughter Marena McCutchen, her grandsons Dylan and Dalton Hacker, her mother, Peggy Mackiewicz; her brother, Tony Wilson, and his wife, Karin; and a whole host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Melbern Wilson; her brother, Terry R. Wilson; her sister, Teresa D. Wilson; her grandparents; and her stepfather, Ken Mackiewicz.

Susan may no longer be here to tell a joke, start a dance, or pull a prank, but she would want us to remember her with smiles, not tears. Her life was defined by the people she loved, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created. Whenever you hear a great song, laugh at a family story, or see a good prank, remember Susan. She may have taken her final bow, but her joyful spirit will always stay in our hearts.
