Susan Ruth Dawley Shablom departed this life on Friday, May 26, 2017, at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 20 days. She was born in Miami, Florida on October 6, 1932, the daughter of the late Jack and Helen Hernden Dawley.
Susan was a great mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and of Christian belief.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Sue Amman Yates and Tina Maria Lois Amman, both of Okeechobee, Florida; grandchildren, Susanne Marie Yates, Jamie Vickers, Chris Yates, LeeAnn Yates, Michael A. McGirt, Ashley Burns, Joshua McGirt, Veronica Amman, Jennifer Amman, and Charlotte Yates; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Dawley of Rockhill, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Arthur Amman; her second husband, Harold Shablom; son, Michael A. Amman; sisters, Lois Dawley and an infant sister; and brothers, Donald Dawley and Christopher Dawley.
