Susan Adams, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, friend, and caring soul, was born on October 12, 1954, to Wanda Smith and James Sistrunk. She gained her wings on August 5, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, and lives she touched along the way.
Susan married the love of her life, Mark Adams, on November 7, 1991. Together, they shared many years of love, family, and cherished memories.
Susan was a devoted mother to her daughter, Tina Adams, and Jesse Adams wife Julie Adams
She also leaves to cherish her memory of her loving siblings, Mike Sistrunk and his wife, Maria, and Jay Sistrunk, along with extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
Susan was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Jimmy Adams, Megan Rivera, Samantha Adams, Erick Adams, Fernando Morales, and Kristina Morales. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Alonzo Belew and Amara Belew, who brought additional special joy to her life.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Wanda Smith and James Sistrunk, and her beloved son, Jesse Adams.
Throughout her professional life, Susan was a woman of determination and accomplishment. She owned and operated Adams Private Process Serving Agency and worked as an Executive Administrator. She took pride in her work and was known for her dedication, strength, and willingness to help others.
Outside of work, Susan's greatest treasures were the people and animals she loved. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and especially dancing and making memories with her grandchildren. She also had a special love for her dogs, Buddy and Charlie, who were faithful companions and cherished members of her family.
Susan had a caring heart and found meaning in helping others whenever she could, especially during their times of need. She gave her time, compassion, and love freely, leaving a lasting impression on many people.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt and sincere thank you to Baptist Trinity Hospice for the compassion, kindness, comfort, and care provided to Susan and her family during her final journey. Your support and dedication will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Susan's love will continue through her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Her hands may be still, but the love she gave will never be.
Her voice may be quiet, but the memories of her laughter will live on.
Her journey on earth has ended, but her legacy of love, family, and compassion will remain forever.
Rest peacefully, Susan. You will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
