Susie Daniels

Susie Daniels

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 23, 1928 the daughter of the late Lewis B. and Annie Bell Tanner Horton.

On January 6, 1951, she was united in marriage to J. L. Daniels, who preceded his wife in death on January 29, 2010.

Susie worked for Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed volunteering as a pink lady at the hospital and she also enjoyed painting and sewing.

Susie departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 97 years, 10 months, and 25 days.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Clausel and her husband Melvin; daughter in law, Hara Daniels; and grandchildren, Christopher Clausel, Brian Clausel, Nathan Daniels, Alex Mitchell (Tyler), Jakob Daniels, and Richie Daniels.

In addition to her parents and husband, Susie was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Daniels; and her siblings, Grady Tanner, Betty Davis, Nancy English, Mary Davis, Loucynthia Austin, Robbie Johnson, Clifford Horton, and James Horton.
