Susie Ruth Eads West, 86, of Hornsby, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer.
The widow of the late William R. Thomas West, who died in 1981, she was a homemaker. She was born January 29, 1924 in Selmer to the late Charlie Melton Eads and Martha Druzilla Brock Eads and lived all of her life in McNairy County. Mrs. West was a Baptist in faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda West Cox of Bethel Springs, Sherry West Dorris of Hornsby; six sons, Kenneth West of Henderson, Earl West of Adamsville, Joe West of Gonzales, LA, Billy West of Bethel Springs, Robert West of Morton, IL, Denny West of Selmer; a brother, William Frank Eads of Morton, IL; 31 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Roy Dale West, James Earnest West; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Diane West.
