Susie Faye Wilson

Susie Faye Wilson was born on March 7, 1937 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clyde Alexander and Bertha Edna Melinda Bell Melson Franks.

On May 28, 1955, she was united in marriage to Gene Richard Wilson, who preceded his wife in death on July 12, 2003.

A few of Susie's hobbies included quilting, cross stitching, and canning. She also enjoyed going walking and cooking. She loved to spend time with her family. Susie attended Souls Harvest Church of God in Savannah, Tennessee.

Susie Faye Wilson departed this life on June 19, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 88 years, 3 months, and 12 days.

She is survived by her sons, Gaylon Wilson (Patricia), Ricky Earl Wilson (Betty), and Ronnie Gene Wilson (Freda); daughter, Virginia F. Smith (David); brothers, JC Franks and William Franks; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Susie was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dale Wilson; brothers, James Lewis Franks, Jr. and Clyde Franks, Jr.; and sisters, Bertha Mae Brooks and Sarah Evelyn Franks.
