Suzanne Carol Baker Walker

Suzanne Carol Baker Walker of Collinwood, TN was born October 3, 1950 in Humboldt, TN, the daughter of the late John W. and Florette Pennington Baker. She was united in marriage to David Paul Walker on July 10, 1976.

Mrs. Walker was a retired teacher with the Wayne County, TN (Collinwood, TN) school system and was a member of the church of christ.

She was an English major having taught from 1971 to 2011 in special education and computer lab. Mrs. Walker enjoyed being a beauty control consultant, knitting, quilting, antiquing, working with and making ceramics, traveling. She was an avid reader.

Mrs. Walker departed this life on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 8 Months, 13 Days.

She is survived by her husband, David Paul Walker of Collinwood, TN; a daughter, Laura Sherrill and husband, James of Collinwood, TN and a sister, Gail Thompson of Lexington, TN.

At her request, her remains will be cremated with a graveside service at a later date at Rutherford City Cemetery in Rutherford, TN.
