T. E. "Coach" Langford Jr.

T. E. (Coach) Langford, Jr was born January 22, 1952 in Fort Bragg, N.C., the son of the late Turner Edwin Langford Sr. and Margaret Aliene Moorer Langford. Mr. Langford departed this life on July 27, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 71 Years, 6 Months, 5 Days. He was united in marriage to Yolanda Washburn on July 12, 1997.

Coach Langford proudly served his community as a member of the Alabama National Guard for seven years. Throughout his remarkable career spanning 54 years in the construction industry, he traveled extensively while working as a senior manager for Haskell Construction. His commitment and expertise were widely recognized by colleagues and friends alike.

A man of many talents and passions, Coach Langford led a life wearing many different hats! He had a zest for life that knew no bounds. He was a fun loving and hard working man. He was an avid motorcycle rider, finding solace and freedom on the open road. Enjoyed dancing, singing, raising live stock especially cattle and goats, and taking care of everyone around him. He loved having morning coffee with his favorite little nurse Raelyn Kay. 

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Langford; children: Shane Langford and wife Jennifer of Greenville, AL, Will Langford of Greenville, AL, Chad Langford of Greenville, AL, Jesse Lee of Ramer, TN, Christopher Lee and wife Stephanie of Oviedo, FL; special nephew, Jon Richardson (Amanda Mills) of Corinth, MS; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Katrina Langford Shelton and husband Greg of Birmingham, AL, Sharon Lea Langford of Troy, AL; other nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Langford was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Pascual Langford.
