Talmage Allen Hampton

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home ,Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones and Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 11, 5:00--9:00 pm and on Wednesday, August 12, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro



Mr.Talmage Hampton departed this life on Friday, August 7, 2009 at Maury Regional Hospital, in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 10 Months, 14 Days. He was born September 24, 1944 in Florence, Alabama the son of the late Talmage Wade and Ruth Ella McWilliams Hampton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hampton was preceded in death by son, Chris Hampton



Mr. Talmage, a former district manager for the Shoney's Corporation, was a member of the Presbyterian Church.



He is survived by his wife Abbie (Clay) Hampton of Savannah, TN;

four sons, Allen Hampton of Columbia, TN, John Hampton of Iron City, TN, Chad Hampton of Waynesboro, TN and Tony Hampton of Nashville, TN
