Tammy Lynn Stults Thompson

Tammy Lynn Stults Thompson of Iron City, TN was born January 9, 1960 in Mishawaka, IN, the daughter of the late Russell Ezell and Ellen Mae Wrigley Stults. She was united in marriage to Joseph Thompson on January 13, 1976. Mrs. Thompson was a seamstress and a member of the Lighthouse Community Church in Madison, Tennessee.

Mrs. Thompson departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 60 Years, 2 Months, 5 Days.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Thompson of Iron City, TN; a son, Joshua Thompson and girlfriend, Tiana Campbell of Madison, TN; a daughter, Jolene Yount and husband, Ryan of Springfield, TN; two grandchildren, Maliyah Thompson and Lexia Larravide; two brothers, Russell Stults and wife, Mariam of Goshen, IN and Matthew Wayne Stults and wife, Ellen of Cypress Inn, TN; a sister, Jeanith Sherrills of Iron City, TN and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Steven Farless, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Grove Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Josh Thompson, Ryan Yount, Jonathan Judd, Joe Thompson and Jaime Thompson.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Monday, March 16, 2020 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home.
