Funeral services for Teat Andrews, age 76, a resident of Wayne County Nursing Home, formerly of Collinwood will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Shawnettee Methodist Church with John Ives officiating. Interment will follow services in Shawnettee Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.
Mr. Andrews, a native of Wayne County, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. He was a son of the late John Thomas and Minnie Myrtle Andrews. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Andrews and a daughter, Collen Andrews, brothers, Walter, Chester, Dewey, and Franklin; sister, Estella Story; half brothers, Early, Thomas, and Claude; and a half sister, Willie Risner. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a former employee of Genesco.
He is survived by sons, Dennis, Mitchel, Dwight, and Phillip Andrews; daughter, Teresa Casteel all of Collinwood, TN;
8 grandchildren;
brothers; Lester Andrews of Lawrenceburg, TN; Jack Andrews of Waynesboro, TN and Porter Andrews of Forsythe, GA; sisters, Willodean Atwell of St. Joseph, TN, Myrtle Andrews of Forsythe, GA, and Lillie Butler of Waynesboro, TN
