Ted Allen Simmons

Funeral services for Ted Allen Simmons, age 48, Iron City, TN will be

1:00 pm Wednesday at Iron City Freewill Baptist Church with Tim Hanback, Ronnie Carlson, and Danny McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in Railroad Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Iron City Freewill Baptist Church from 5:00 pm until service time.



Mr. Simmons, a native of Fayette County, AL, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence. He is the son of Betty Scrivner Simmons who survives of Iron City, TN and the late Ted Simmons. He was a logger and a member of Iron City Freewill Baptist Church and deacon.



Survivors other than his mother include his wife, Cathy Franks Simmons;

sons, Ted Bryan Simmons and his wife Ashley, Trent Allen Simmons; daughter, Lori Diane Simmons all of Iron City, TN; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ted Christopher, Tristen, and Sydney; brothers, Glenn Simmons and his wife Carol of Iron City, TN, Grayson Simmons of Cherokee, AL, John Simmons and his wife Daphne of Williamsport, TN; sisters, Tina Edgar and her husband Anthony of Iron City, TN and Mary Young and her husband Vince of Cherokee, AL; grandfather, Willard Simmons of Montgomery, AL; and several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles and host of friends.
