Mr. Teddy Wade Skillern departed this life on December 9, 2016 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 9 Months.
He was born March 9, 1943 in Collinwood, TN the son of the late Kenneth Beaumont and Lorene Hollis Skillern.
He was united in marriage to Frances Delena Wright on July 16, 1985.
Mr. Skillern was retired from Reynolds Aluminum as a furnace worker . He was a member of the First Baptist Church .
He is survived by his wife Frances Delena (Wright) Skillern of Collinwood, TN,
sons, Anderson Skillern of Collinwood, TN, Andrew Skillern and wife Emma of St. Joseph, TN, daughter, Amanda Butler and husband Brian of Collinwood, TN, grandchild, Finley Skillern, brothers, Kenny Skillern and Terry Skillern both of Collinwood, TN, Jeff Skillern of Iron City, TN, sisters, Frances Wooten of McAlester, OK, and Patricia Benedict of Collinwood, TN,
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Mike Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 12, 6:00 pm until service time @ First Baptist Church, Collinwood, TN
