Teresa
Crouse
May 7, 1972 – May 22, 2026
Teresa Crouse dedicated her life to serving others with compassion, strength, and love. As an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, she inspired generations of students to work hard, lead with integrity, and believe in themselves. Her classroom was more than a place to learn, it was a place where students felt encouraged, supported, and cared for like family. The impact she made through agricultural education and FFA will continue for years to come through the many lives she touched.
Above all else, her greatest joy was her family. She was the heart of her home, a loving wife, an incredible mother, and a proud Gigi whose love knew no limits. She gave endlessly of herself and made everyone around her feel valued, comforted, and deeply loved.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, her unwavering dedication to others, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
Though she will be greatly missed, her love and influence will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Eric Crouse; mother, Dorothy Webb Jarrett; two sons, Adam Crouse (Alyssa) and Jeremy Crouse (Elacey) all of Sweetlips; a daughter, Dakota Hatchett (Eric) of Huron; seven grandchildren, whom she loved deeply, Charlie, Jackson, Ella Rae and Olivia Hatchett, Julianna and Myles Crouse, Dixon Crouse and a baby girl on the way; and two sisters, Sandy Porter (Danny) of Big Sandy, TN and Nannette Jarrett of Camden, TN.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Desmond Jarrett.
A Celebration of life will be 6:00 PM Friday May 29, 2026, at Williams Auditorium in Henderson, TN. The family will receive friends at the auditorium on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM service time.
"She found her peace in open fields, In blooming gardens softly swayed.
With dirt-stained hands and a gentle heart, She loved the life that nature made.
The flowers knew her tender touch, The earth beneath her steady care -
And every breeze through the trees and blooms
Still feels a little like she's there."
