Teresa Morris

Teresa Lynn Morris was born on March 7, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Richard Sandusky and Edith Harville,

On January 12, 1981, she was united in marriage to Rex Morris, who survives.

Teresa devoted many years of her life to caring for others through her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant before retiring. Her caring nature extended beyond her profession and was especially evident in the love she had for her family.

Family was incredibly important to Teresa, and she treasured the time that they spent together. She especially cherished her grandson, Nate, who brought so much joy into her life. Some of her happiest memories were made traveling and vacationing with those that she loved. She enjoyed trips to the mountains, camping, and attending country music concerts with her family.

Teresa departed this life on September 29, 2026, in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 66 years, 6 months, and 22 days.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rex Morris of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Angela Michelle Sandusky of Savannah, Tennessee; and grandson, Nathaniel Alexander of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her daughter, Eve Morris Alexander; brothers, Earl Sandusky, Kenneth Sandusky, and Freddy Sandusky; and her sister, June Burgess, and June’s husband, Bobby, whom Teresa thought of as her second parents.
