Terry Bruce Conner was born on November 19, 1951 in Savannah, TN, the son of the late Wallace Boyd and Cordie Marie Love Conner.
On March 8, 1970, he was united in marriage to Donna McCasland, who survives.
Bruce began his career as a truck driver working for Preston Carroll, then later he worked for Lynn Churchwell. At the time of his retirement Bruce drove for Dale Johnson. Bruce was known to be a spirited conversationalist who was quick to give his opinion on any subject that was brought up. Bruce also had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. Bruce enjoyed working on things in his shop or "Piddling" as he would say, often ending in tearing up what he was intending to fix. Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family and particularly the time spent arguing with his oldest sister Betty. Bruce loved his kids, grandkids, and wife, in no particular order, and was very proud of all his family. One of Bruce's greatest traits was his generosity. He would give anything he had to someone who needed it.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Conner; daughters, Alisha Brown and husband Brownie of Florence, AL, and Terri Wright and husband Alan of Savannah, TN; daughter-in-law Leslie Conner of Savannah, TN; grandchildren, Hunter Brown and wife Kelsey, Brady Brown and fiancee Belle Jones, Yasmin Barnes and husband Hunter, Yancey Wright, Mollie Conner, and Evan Conner; Great granchildren, Hardin Brown, Heath Barnes, and Hazel Barnes; sisters Betty Johnson, and Brenda Duncan and husband John both of Savannah, TN.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his son, Colton Conner; and brother, Bobby Conner.
