T.F. Rich

T. F. Rich was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 19, 1924 the son of the late Tom Frank Rich, Sr. and Emma Lotisha Stricklin Rich. He was united in marriage to Sarah Margaret Neill on August 29, 1941, who survives.

Mr. Rich lived in the Mount Hermon Community in Hardin County, where he was a member of the Mount Hermon Baptist Church and owner and operator of Rich's Store. Mr. Rich also worked in construction. He was a collector of all types of things, and enjoyed gardening, farming, baseball, and Tennessee Vols Football.

Mr. Rich departed this life on June 18, 2014 at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 30 days.

In addition to his wife of 73 years, Sarah, he is survived by three daughters, Sue Vanhoose, Winda Dennis and Gayle Tidwell; four sons, Wayland Rich, Jerry Rich, Demus Rich and Teddy Rich all of Savannah, Tennessee; twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, James Hunley Rich of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Brian Rich and Jamie Guynes and one great-grandchild, Soren Carothers; and one brother, Chester Rich.
