Thomas E. Allen passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at his home.
The husband of Annette Baldwin Allen, whom he married July 14, 1956, he retired from Dover Elevators as a welder after 30 years of employment. He was born September 17, 1932 in Hardeman County to the late Tommy Sanford Allen and Effie Hodge Allen, lived all of his life in Middleton, and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Allen was a veteran in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict and was a member of Oak Grove Independent Methodist Church in Pocahontas.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Debra McMahan of Middleton, Margie Allen and her friend, Tony Harris of Middleton; two sisters, Mary Frances Clayton of Potts Camp, MS, Sarah Ruth Walton of Pontotoc, MS; a brother, Robert Allen of Hornsby; three grandchildren, Kelly Ellison of Fort Wainwright, AK, Cody McMahan of Memphis, Carlee Harris of Middleton; and two great grandchildren, Nicholas Allen and MaKayla Grace Ellison, both of Fort Wainwright, AK.
