Thomas E. Beckham departed this life on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the age of 75 years, 5 months, and 21 days. He was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on May 27, 1941 the son of the late Tom Frank and Verdie Marie Barnette Beckham.
Thomas served in the United States Army from June 2, 1960 - May 23, 1968. He worked for Milan Ammunitions, Brown Shoe Company, and Wal-Mart. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and an Indian artifact collector.
He is survived by his children, Alice Bennett of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Vance Beckham and Michael Beckham both of Savannah, Tennessee; stepchildren, Tina Finley, Carol Murphy, Stacey Strickland, Angela Gray, and Allen Gray all of Savannah, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Nell Sweat.
