Buddy Taylor, age 65, departed this life Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2016 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Thomas Rainey Taylor was born on Sunday, June 17, 1951, to the late Herman Thomas Taylor and Ina May Mayfield in Hardeman County, TN. On December 23, 1971, he married Clara Duncan Taylor in Bolivar, TN. Buddy worked for Baker Manufacturing off and on for over twenty years, and also worked for Kilgore for twenty years until retiring. Mr. Taylor was an outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting of all types, his dogs and his family. Buddy lived all of his life in Hardeman County.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Taylor of Bolivar, TN; five sisters, Barbara Hughbanks of Selmer, TN, Melissa Hester of Hurley, MS, Janice Taylor of Selmer, TN, Sheila Ray of Murfreesboro, TN, and Elizabeth King of Crump, TN; and a brother, Carl Taylor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Thomas Taylor and Ina May Mayfield.
