Henderson, TN: Thomas “Tom” Wayne Glasscock, age 76 of Henderson, died at his home on July 31, 2021.
He was born on November 27, 1944 in Montgomery, AL, son of the late Stanley Andrew and Lena Beatrice Royal Glasscock. He grew up in Montgomery and graduated from Sydney Lanier High School.
He was a salesman for several businesses over his career. He was a voracious reader and lover of history.
He is survived by a sister, Bonnie Sue Chambers of Rockwall, TX; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; close friends Mike and Mena Roby of Jackson, TN; godchildren Christy Roby Payne and husband Jonathan of Oxford, MS and Lance Kyle Roby of Fairview, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Eugene Glasscock and two sisters, Doris Virginia Barber and Daisy Drucilla Barber.
