Thomas Nelson Hardin, Sr. was born May 9, 1934 in Corinth, MS, the son of the late Claude Thomas Hardin and Mary Jane Brown Hardin.
On November 24, 1976, Thomas united in marriage with his cherished wife, Bobbie Sue Kirkman. Thomas dedicated 50 years of his life as an Auto Parts Salesman for NAPA, where he was known not just for his work ethic, but for the connections he made with those around him.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Thomas was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee. His faith and strong values guided him in every step of life. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he also held membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans, reflecting his deep-seated commitment to heritage and community.
Thomas departed this life on June 6, 2025, in Selmer, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. He touched the lives of many and will forever be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bobbie Hardin; a son, Thomas Nelson Hardin, Jr.; two grandchildren, Andy Hardin and Laura Hardin; extended family Angelia Cupples and husband Eddie and son Harrison Donahoe and Denny and Betty Howell; dear friends Hosea Sheffield and Jerrie and Travis Browder; and his church family and friends.
