THOMAS JONES

Enville, TN: Thomas Earl Jones age 75 passed away December 28, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born January 7, 1939 in Chester County, the son of the late Robert Earl and Ester Baxter Jones. He attended school at Phillips School House in Chester County and moved to Illinois and joined the Navy. He made his home in Rockford, IL where he worked for Atwood Vaccum Machine Company, which made car parts and aluminum links. He moved back to Chester County in 1981. He enjoyed wood working. Mr. Jones was a member of the Jehovah Witness.

Mr. Jones was a beloved son, brother and father.

He is survived by four daughters, Kathryn Barkowski of Surprise, AZ, Donna Schutt of Rockford, IL, Patricia Moorman of Rockford, IL and Amy Liatto of Machesney Park, IL; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Jones of Henderson and Larry Jones of Enville and a sister, Margie Baker of Bolivar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elaine Rose.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Cave Springs Cemetery with Stuart MacDiarmid officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
