Thomas Arliss Kates

Thomas Arliss Kates was born April 9, 1974 in Memphis, TN the son of  Harold and Ruby Whittemore Kates.

Thomas was a self employed carpenter. He was a huge Tennessee Titan fan. He enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, and hanging out with family and friends.

Mr. Kates departed this life on March 14, 2023 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 48 Years, 11 Months, 5 Days.

He is survived by his father, Harold Kates and fiancée Donna Walker of Bethel Springs, TN, his mother Ruby Kates of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Haley Bynum and husband Kyle; a brother, William Kates and wife Rhonda of Corinth, MS; a sister, Regina Littlejohn and husband Cory of Bethel Springs, TN; three grandchildren,  Weston, Haydyn, and Paxton Bynum; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a sister, LeEtta Miller.
