Thomas James McGrath, Sr.was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 3, 1933 the son of the late Elinor McGrath, the first female Veterinarian in the United States.Mr. McGrath had lived in Baroda, Michigan for 31 years and was self-employed as a steel hauler until illness forced him to retire. He loved feeding hummingbirds, deer, and enjoyed watching wildlife. He enjoyed yard work and was proud of his lawn. Mr. McGrath departed this life on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the age of 77 years, 6 months, 25 days.Mr. McGrath is survived by 3 daughters, Elinor Traci McGrath of Canton, Georgia, Lynette Cunningham of Savannah, Tennessee and Patricia Moore of Bremen, Kentucky; 2 sons, Thomas McGrath, Jr. of Forth Smith, Arkansas and Timothy McGrath of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; ex-wife, Betty Huffchild McGrath of Adamsville, Tennessee; 2 stepsons, Blair Peckham of Savannah, Tennessee and Michael Peckham of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
