Thomas Deward Powell

Thomas Deward Powell was born October 23, 1950 in Tennessee, the son of the late James Deward Powell and Margie Melton Powell.

Tom served in the U. S. Navy and in the TN National Guard. He was united in marriage to Betty Hickman on April 7, 1982. He worked in construction and plumbing. He also worked at Spectrum for many years. He attended Believers Victory Fellowship in Selmer, Tennessee.

Mr. Powell departed this life on September 28, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 11 Months, 5 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Powell of Selmer, TN; Tommy Powell of Nashville, TN, Tonya Brown and husband Jeff of Nashville, TN, Timmy Powell, Charlie Wyte and wife Jessica of Ramer, TN, Jesse Wyte and wife April of Selmer, TN, Bill Wyte and wife Bobbette of S. C.; a sister, Joy Green and husband Corky of Arlington, TN; 14 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; and nieces, Wendy and husband Jerry and their children, Shelia and husband Scott and their children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
