Thomas Oneal Pulley was born November 13, 1924 in Clifton, Tennessee, the son of the late Walter and Annie Kelso Pulley. He was united in marriage to Ruth Leona Casner on April 19, 1946.



Mr. Pulley was a retired maintenance worker at W. J. Shoenburger Company and served in the United States Army during the WW II.



Mr. Pulley departed this life on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Savannah Health Care in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 11 Months, 21 Days.



He is survived by his wife, Ruth Leona Casner Pulley of Olivehill, TN; a son, Dennis Pulley and wife, Carol of Savannah, TN; 3 Grandchildren, Kristy Griggs of Olive Hill, TN, Jennifer Hartle of Smyrna, TN, Colby Schultz of Olive Branch, MS; 12 Great-Grandchildren, David and Matthew Petty, Lydia, Wyatt, Maverick, and Solon Griggs, Hailey, Kaylin, and Christa Schultz, Patrick, Madeleine, and Lauren Hartle; a brother, Royce Pulley of Waynesboro, TN; two sisters, Nell Pulley Todd of Tiptonville, TN, Frances Pulley Morris of Beech Creek, TN; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to his parents, Mr. Pulley was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Vernon, and Richard Pulley; four sisters, Loudean Pulley Gammons, Charlene Pulley Overton, and Imajean Pulley Prater.



Services were held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Clifton Pentecostal Church in Clifton, Tennessee, with Billy Wright officiating. Burial was in the Worley Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers were David and Matthew Petty, Johnathan Graham, Colby Schultz, Nicky and Timmy Boyd, and Brandon Reeves.
