Thomas Eugene Shelby,

THOMAS EUGENE SHELBY, SR.
was born in Savannah, Tennessee on August 28, 1941 the son of the late James Vernon and Camilla May Robertson Shelby.
Mr. Shelby retired after 30 years as a lab operator for Owens-Corning Fiberglass in Jackson, Tennessee. He was a member of Souls Harbor Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Mr. Shelby was a good father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a very giving and kind person, he would give you his last dollar.
Mrs. Shelby departed this life on January 4, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years 4 months and 7 days.
He is survived by his children, Bruce Wayne Shelby, Glona Faye Benson and Rebecca Christine Kyle, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Thomas Eugene Shelby, Jr. of Florence, Alabama.
8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren
three sisters, Dorothy Bullington, Verna Forrester and Irene Shelby
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James W. Shelby, one grandchild, Michael "Mikey" Wayne Shelby, and two great grandchildren, Jayden Tyler Wayne Shelby and Jestyn Ahmira Dickerson.
