Thomas H. Turner

Thomas H. Turner departed this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 7 days. He was born in Union County, Mississippi on November 14, 1941, the son of the late Roy Franklin and Alma Louise Richey Turner.

Thomas has lived in Hardin County, Tennessee for 38 years and Memphis, Tennessee for 30 years. He had worked for Commonwealth Insurance Company for 15 years. He was a member of the Union Avenue Baptist Church and Bassmasters Fishing Club in Memphis, Tennessee. Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, cooking, and grilling.

He is survived by his children, Thomas Henry Turner, II of Blue Springs, Mississippi, Kimberly Ann Johnson and husband, Timothy of Nashville, Tennessee, and Tracey Ann Turner Harlin of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Thomas Henry (Trip) Turner, III, and Christian Claire Turner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carey Todd (Smiley) Turner; brother, Billy Van Turner; and mother of his children, Ann Peete Turner.
