Thomas Warren

Mr. Thomas "Tom" Wayne Warren of Toone departed this life Thursday, April 23, 2012 at Northbrooke Health Care Center in Jackson at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 7 days.
He was born in Bolivar January 12, 1940 to the late Robert Bryan and Margie Gray Warren. He was united in marriage to Linda King, whos survives, in December of 1959. Mr. Warren served his country in the United States Army from 1959-1965, during which time he spent 1 year and 3 months in Korea. While serving he earned a parachutist badge, a sharpshooter badge for rifle and pistol and was a first class gunner. After his service, he worked for Safelite Auto Glass as a glazer prior to retirement. Having lived most of his life in the Hardeman County area, he also lived in Indiana for a couple of years. He was Baptist in belief.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Warren leaves as his survivors two daughters, Angel Denise Warren of Mansfield and Tommie Blevins of Toone; a son, Sammy Warren of Springfield; four grandchildren; and two sisters, JoAnn Newsom of Jackson and Mary Sue Givens of Alabama. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Templeton; and two brothers, Robert Warren and Earnest Warren.
