Mr. Warren died Saturday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Hardeman County, he was the son of the late Willie Douglas Warren and Lola King Warren. Mr. Warren worked 20 years for the Hardeman County Road Department. He married the former Stella Louise Wilson on December 1, 1964. Mrs. Warren passed away November 22, 2004. He was a Baptist in belief and attended Vildo Pentecostal Church. He lived all of his life in Tippah Co., MS and in Hardeman Co., TN.
He leaves his present wife, Evelyn Smith Warren, whom he married on March 26, 2005; his daughter, Faye Page of Jackson; his son, Donald Warren of Faulkner, MS; six step-children, Mary, Joseph and Randy Hopper, Susie Duncan and Danny Frye, all of Medon, and Sheila Honey of Alamo; two brothers, Pete Warren of Medon and Bill Warren of Bolivar; 16 grandchildren, James Page, Tabitha Dittaugh, Raymond and Floyd Keenum, Penny Holland, Tommy Richie, Daniel and Tiffany Frye, Amber Pickett, Stephanie, Jonathan and Priscilla Hopper, Chris and Brandon Bryant, April Sain and Ashley Honey; five great-grandchildren, Makayla Dittaugh, Whitney and Tiffany B. Keenum, Austin and Kayla Lewis and several other great-grandchildren.
In addition to his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy May Hill and two brothers, Douglas and Everett Warren.
