THOMAS WHALEY
was born in Lacrosse, Wisconsin on November 1, 1960 the son of Robert Friesinger and Donna Mae Dobbs Whaley.
Mr. Whaley was a Boy Scout earning the rank of Eagle Scout and he was previous treasurer of The Brotherhood of Savannah and was one of the primary fundraisers for charitable organizations. Mr. Whaley was of Methodist belief.
He departed this life on June 7, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 6 days.
Mr. Whaley is survived by his father, Robert (Bob) Freisinger of Lacrosse, Wisconsin; his mother, Donna Dobbs Whaley of Sierra Vista, Arizona; his companion of 20 years, Claudia Golden of Savannah, Tennessee; his children, Wesley Whaley and Corey Whaley, both of Jackson, Tennessee, and Claudia's children, Lisa Johnston and her husband John of Savannah, Tennessee and Michael (Mac) Coleman and his wife Zeny of San Diego, California; four siblings, Jerry R. Whaley of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Ronald J. Whaley of Twin Cities, Minnesota, Kenneth J. Whaley and his wife Delores of Rapid City, South Dakota and William (Bill) J. Whaley and his wife Leslie of Camano, Washington
Mr. Whaley was preceded in death by his step father, Donald John Whaley.
