Thomas Wesley Wilmeth was born May 21, 1924 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Logan and Lorena Deming Wilmeth.
He was united in marriage to Fawndree Parmely on October 23, 1943.
Mr. Wilmeth was a night watchman for 19 years at Levi-Strauss in Ramer, Tennessee and was a member of the Antioch church of Christ. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater. Mr. Wilmeth was a lifelong resident of Ramer until 2007. He loved to work in his garden, and enjoyed attending auctions whenever possible.
Mr. Wilmeth departed this life on September 8, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 3 Months, 18 Days. He is survived by his wife of almost 67 years, Fawndree (Parmely) Wilmeth of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Ann Moore and husband Roy of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren: Sharon Vetter and husband Clay of Cookeville, TN, Chad Moore and wife Eve of Memphis, TN, and Randy Moore of Selmer, TN; seven great-grandchildren: Hunter Vetter, Bret Vetter, Colton Vetter, Logan Moore, Morgan Moore, Lillie Moore, and Anna Moore; a brother, Franklin Wilmeth and wife Virginia of Ramer, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilmeth was preceded in death by two brothers, James Wilmeth and Fred Wilmeth.
