Thressia Ann Jobe

THRESSIA ANN (TESS) BARNES JOBE



was born in Iuka, Mississippi on January 19, 1934 the daughter of Dewey Bryson and Thunia Cole Barnes.



On December 23, 1953 she was united in marriage to Marcus "Buddy" Jobe, who preceded his wife in death on January 2, 2009.



Mrs. Jobe was a retired restaurant owner. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jobe loved antiques, swimming, fishing and especially loved her family and friends.



She departed this life on February 1, 2010 at her residence in Pickwick Dam, Tennessee at the age of 76 years and 13 days.



Mrs. Jobe is survived by one son, Brady Jobe of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee and one daughter, Suzanne Jobe Wall and her husband David of Corinth, Mississippi



8 sisters, Bonnie Stahl and her husband Bill of Corinth, Mississippi, Betty Johnson and her husband Gordon of Counce, Tennessee, Donna Hopkins of Corinth, Mississippi, Doris Willis and her husband Bob of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cleda Rencher of Kossuth, Mississippi, Peggy Cooksey and her husband Tommy of Counce, Tennessee, Tommie Nell Barnes and her husband Warren of Counce, Tennessee and Pat Dexter and her husband Stan of Iuka, Mississippi



In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Jobe was also preceded in death by one sister, Kathryn Voyles.
