Thurman Hurst

Thurman Hurst was born May 26, 1928 in Chester County, Tennessee the son of the late Elijah Forman and Wilma Flora Maness Hurst.
He was united in marriage to Tommie Lee Lowe on January 21, 1950, they were married for 50 years until she passed from this life on December 15, 2000. Mr. Hurst remarried to Louise Isbell on February 1, 2002. He was a retired factory worker from Kolpak and had worked at Brown Shoe Factory. Mr. Hurst was also a member of the Selmer Primitive Baptist church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working in his wood working shop.
Mr. Hurst departed this life on July 2, 2009 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 1 Month, 6 Days.
He is survived by his wife Louise (Isbell) Hurst of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters, Sandy Young and husband Ricky of Bethel Springs, TN, Annette White and husband Dennis of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Albert T. Hurst Jr. and wife Connie of Little Rock, AR, Eston Hurst and wife Beth of Dyer, TN; two sisters, Marie Causey of Bernie, MO and Larue Moore of Selmer, TN; a brother, Parker Hurst of Bethel Springs, TN; nine grandchildren, Jon Hurst, Kelly Thomas, Ben Hurst, Kerry Crandall, Betsy Hurst, Corey White, Sally White, Joy White and Josh Young and 11 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hurst was preceded in death by his first wife, Tommie Lee Hurst; a sister, Mildred Weaver; a brother, Desmond Hurst; an Infant Son and two infant great grandchildren, Claire and Caden.
