Timothy Ray Smith

Timothy Ray Smith was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 23, 1989, the son of Carolyn Sue Hobbs Gastineau and the late Boyce Edward Smith. He departed this life on June 19, 2018, at the age of 28 years, 6 months, and 27 days.

Timothy served his country in the United States Army for four years. Within those four years, he served two tours in Iraq. He attended Plummer's Chapel. In his lifetime, Timothy lived in Tennessee, Florida, Missouri, Kansas, and Arizona, and worked at American Food Service, Spark's Custom Fabrication, and Ameripride. Timothy loved the outdoors, rock climbing, bow fishing and hunting, kayaking, electrical work, school, learning new things, riding motorcycles, cooking, playing with his dog, hiking, and camping. He was a survivalist.

In addition to his mother, Timothy is survived by his brothers, Thomas Smith and Dakota Gastineau, both of Savannah, Tennessee, and Royce Gastineau II of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Kandace Gastineau of Dallas, Texas; grandparents, B.J. Goodman and David Goodman of Houston, Missouri, and Royce Gastineau, Sr. of Republic, Missouri; and stepfather, Lee Gastineau of Savannah, Tennessee.

Along with his father, Timothy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margie Smith, Ruby Hobbs and Henry Hobbs, and an uncle, James Robert Hobbs.
