Tommy Joe Alexander was born on October 24, 1960, the son of T.J. and Madlyn Carroll Alexander. He departed this life on July 12, 2017, at the age of 56 years, 8 months, and 18 days.

Tommy worked at Savannah Homes for 14 years and lived in Hardin County most of his life. He attended Sharon Baptist Church. Tommy was an artist and enjoyed fishing, hunting, rock hunting, and tinkering.

In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by his brothers, Craig Alexander and wife Becky of Del Rio, Texas and Christopher Carl Alexander and wife Tammy of Savannah, Tennessee, and his sister, Cindy Tucker and husband Jerry of Savannah, Tennessee.
