Tommy Edward Cypert

Tommy Edward Cypert of Collinwood, TN was born September 1, 1936 in Wayne Co, TN, the son of the late Walter Jefferson and Katie Buryl Holt Cypert.
Mr. Cypert was a retired laborer having worked in the lumber industry. He was a member of the South Highland Church of Christ, Collinwood, Tennessee.
Mr. Cypert departed this life on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 11 Months, 7 Days.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert Cypert of Iron City, TN and Roy Cypert of Elkhart, IN and a sister, Reba Cypert of Collinwood, TN.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cypert was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Van Cypert and Wayford Cypert and a sister, Rotha Nell Cypert.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cypress Inn, Tennessee with John Heard officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 10 am to 12:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood, TN.
