Tommy Dickerson

Tommy Harold Dickerson was born August 22, 1952 the son of the late Mr. Elbert Dickerson & Sudie Oliver Dickerson Jolly.
Tommy spent most of his life in Henderson, TN where he raised his children with wife, Anne Dickerson originally of Scotts Hill, TN. He was a member of A New Beginning Church in Finger, TN. Tommy was a truck driver and mechanic for over thirty-five years and retired in 2001. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Tommy departed this life on September 10, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital at the age of 58 years, 19 days.
In addition to Anne, Tommy is survived by two children, Jamie (Cynthia) Dickerson of Bolivar, TN and Angie Dickerson of Henderson, TN, three grand-children, Christopher, Delana & Jacob Dickerson of Henderson, TN, two sisters, Marie Dickerson and Sue Gorney of Savannah, TN and five brothers, Johnny (Ima) Dickerson of Parsons, TN, Mike Funderburk of Savannah, TN, Amos Dickerson of Savannah, TN, Thomas Dickerson of Michie, TN, Luther Dickerson of Louisiana and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Matheny of Sardis, TN and her son, Daniel Dickerson
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be directed to the Tommy Dickerson Memorial Fund at Farmers and Merchants Bank of Bolivar, TN.
