Tommy Wayne Handley

Tommy Wayne Handley was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 3, 1945, the son of the late Arthur Jackson Handley and Emma Susan Hartley Handley. He departed this life on Thursday, May 10, 2017, at the age of 71 years, 5 months, and 7 days.

Tommy served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a machine operator for Wise Company for seventeen years. He loved hunting, fishing, raising chickens, especially show roosters, and watching football on TV. He was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a brother, Rex Handley of Savannah, Tennessee; a sister, Patsy Gibbs of Savannah, Tennessee; seventeen nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin Handley, A.J. Handley, Dan Handley, William Hartley Handley, Frank Handley, Bobby Joe Handley, and Ted Handley; and sisters, Thelma Boswell and Helen Greene.
