TOMMY HARWELL

Enville, TN: Tommy Neal Harwell age 72 passed away May 16, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Hospital at Corinth.

He was born October 29, 1952, in Milledgeville, the son of the late Willie Fay and Helen Agnes Sanderson Harwell. He attended school at Milledgeville and graduated from High School at Sardis in 1971. Tommy had farmed, worked for Enville Fertilizer, drove a school bus, did logging and worked for the McNairy County landfill as a manager.

He married Rae Wade in 2012, and they made their home near Milledgeville.

They enjoyed equipment auctions and antique shops. He enjoyed fishing.

He attended Morris Chapel Baptist Church.

Mr. Harwell is survived by his wife, Rae Harwell of Milledgeville; a son, Shane Harwell (Tanya) of Enville and two grandchildren, Hunter and Lexie Harwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Shannon Harwell (2006).

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, at Morris Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Moore and Bro. Brody Hutcherson officiating. Burial will follow at Milledgeville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, at Morris Chapel Baptist Church and beginning at 12:00 PM on Tuesday until service time at the church.
