TOMMY MENZIE

Henderson, TN: Thomas Michael Menzie, age 65, passed away March 31, 2026, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

He was born on July 29, 1960, in Burlingame, CA, the son of Paul Garrison and the late Patsy Bridges Garrison. He grew up in Henderson and graduated from Chester County High School in 1978. He then attended TCAT in Jackson and became a certified electrician.

He worked for Neo Products, Henderson Stamping and traveled to several other places doing Union work. He last worked for Eaglewood Baptist Church in Maintenance.

He married Lynn Melson on August 11, 1989, and she survives him and was his best friend.

He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and watching football. He especially loved his grandchildren and attending their ball games.

He was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.

Mr. Menzie is survived by his father, Paul Garrison of Adamsville; a son, Eric Dove of Henderson and three daughters, Emily Donaldson of Toone, TN, Ashley Thomas (Scotty) of Henderson and Elizabeth Dove of Luray, TN and two brothers, Johnny Menzie (Lisa) and Jimmy Menzie both of Henderson and six grandchildren, Lauren Donaldson, Hayden Donaldson, Jaden Fason, Waylon Brooks, Carleigh Ingram and Claire Dove.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Brynleigh Kate and Clarabell Beth Thomas.
