Tommy Roberts

TOMMY ROBERTS

was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 19, 1945, the son of the late John Henry and Mary Minnie Hedrick Roberts.

On December 19, 1987, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Weatherington, who survives.

Tommy worked for 16 years as a truck driver for Pier 57. He was a member of Elliston Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee and was a Scottish Rite and Mason. Tommy loved Harley Motorcycles, boat races, and watching action movies. He loved to travel, especially to the beach, where he loved getting to eat seafood. Tommy was always socializing, he wanted to spend as much time as he could with friends and family.

He departed this life on July 27, 2017 at his residence in Milledgeville, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 1 month, and 8 days.

In addition to his wife, Carolyn of 29 years, Tommy is survived by his children, Tim Roberts and his wife Tanya of Nesbitt, Mississippi and Micki Stephens and her husband Will of Collierville, Tennessee.

his mother in law, Allene Weatherington of Milledgeville, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Treece Foley, one sister, Alta Bonicelli, and a brother, Melvin Roberts.
