Toni Michelle Reid, 38, of Middleton, died February 9, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital following a brief illness.
The wife of Kevin Wade Reid, who survives, she was a homemaker and worked as an LPN with Amedisys Home Health in Jackson and Savannah for the past seven years. She formerly worked as a shift manager with McDonald’s. Mrs. Reid was born February 26, 1968 in Memphis, the daughter of Jack and Rose Smith Smart of Pocahontas, and lived in Hardeman County since 1976. She loved photography and sports, and was an active member of Middleton First Baptist Church, working with the Mission Kids and Discipleship Training and also teaching Sunday School.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on June 4, 2005, and her parents, survivors include two sons, Joshua Kirk Rodgers and Austin Heath Rodgers, both of Middleton; three daughters, Kelsey Rose Rodgers and Heather Renee Reid, both of Middleton and Jenny Renee Rodgers of McNairy County; a brother and sister-in- law, Gary and Cheryl Smart of Middleton; and a niece and nephew, Lindsay and Zach Smart.
