Tony "T.A." Cook, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and esteemed member of the community, passed away on February 26, 2024, in Bolivar, Tennessee.

Born on April 18, 1950, in Madison County, Tennessee, Tony led a remarkable life filled with dedication and service. He graduated from Friendship High School in 1969 before bravely serving his country as a US Army veteran during the Vietnam War. His courage was honored with a Purple Heart for his exceptional bravery.

Tony's commitment to upholding the law led him to a distinguished career as a Tennessee Highway Patrol State Trooper for 26 years until his retirement in 1999. Following this chapter of service, he continued to impact others positively as the Hardeman County Chief Deputy for four years. His dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of his community will forever be remembered.

Outside of his professional life, Tony's passions were as diverse as they were heartfelt. He was an unwavering patriot who found solace in fishing whenever time allowed. An unexpected aspect of his personality was revealed through his love for playing World of Warcraft for several years – fighting for the Alliance with enthusiasm.
